About Treadmill Pace Chart
Treadmill Pace Chart is a free reference for turning a belt speed into pace, or a target pace into the speed to set. It includes walking and running tables, constant-speed finish times, and an approximate incline effort calculator.
How the numbers are made
Pace and finish times come from distance divided by speed, using the exact international mile conversion. The incline tool combines the ACSM running equation with an assumed 1% outdoor-effort reference. Its derivation, research links and limits appear in the incline calculation method and limitations.
The site computes its own tables from these methods. Results round only for display. Section names such as “walking” and “jogging” organize the chart; they do not define training zones.
Ownership and maintenance
Treadmill Pace Chart is created and maintained by the Treadmill Pace Chart team. We maintain the calculators, document their assumptions and sources, check the published values and review reports of calculation errors. For questions or corrections, use our contact page. The site does not provide individualized coaching or medical advice.
